HOW TO MANUALLY SET MOBILE PHONE INTERNET (ALL PHONE ALL NETWORKS)

HOW TO MANUALLY SET MOBILE PHONE INTERNET (ALL PHONE ALL NETWORKS)

Do your phone have internet connectivity problems? then i quess you should call your network operator and ask for
an automatic configuration. If they tell you your phone does not support auto configure and that you should bring the phone to their office for manual configurations,
then you are at the right place, Today i will teach you how to manually configure you phone to browse the internet (all phones all networks). With so many
brands of phones in the world today, you may wonder this is going to work: please know this, internet setting are internet setting and they will work on any phone
These steps are moderately easy all you need is patience to read this and apply it.
provided you do it well.

THING YOU WILL NEED
(1) multimedia phone with a web or wap browser.
(2) courage and self confidence
(3) patience

Pretty simple.

(STEP 1) LOCATE YOUR INTERNET BROWSER.

location of your phones internet browser should be easy because most phone maufacturers represent this with a globe. In some cases they may represent it with a particular
network brand like vodafone life.

(STEP 2) LOCATE SETTINGS.

Look through the options in your phone's wap or web browser and locate settings. This may be the last option given in your phone.
select it and look for profiles. After choosing profiles and selecting a particular profile to edit,

(STEP 3) You may be given options that may contian names like this

-profile name
-i.p address
-network type
-data account
-advance

and so on. Do not panic, this may look difficult but in actual fact, they are very easy to configure and you do not require any special skills.

(STEP 4) PROFILE NAME

In the profile name section, just  insert any name of your choice, it could be your name or anything else.
In actual sense the profile name section is of no importance as to whether the setting will be sucessful.

(STEP 5) I.P ADDRESS.

one important factor is the i.p section, i.p stands for internet protocol and may be neccessary in your internet connection if you choose wap in the network type settings,
do not worry we will get there pretty soon. I.P address is a set of numbers seperated by dots to locate your phone on the internet.
In the ip section, input 0.0.0.0 if you choose the network type HTTP. In case you choose wap in the network type then call your network operator and ask them
for i.p address amd they will be glad to help you, here is an example of an i.p address 172.017.003.005.
If your phone have an option where you can turn off i.p, then i will recommend you choose HTTP as you network type and put i.p off.

(STEP 6) NETWORK TYPE

Choose http if that option is given, your phone might take you futher and ask you about i.p address and may provide ip on and off. if this happens go through
step 5 again.

STEP 7: DATA ACCOUNT

data account section gives you two forms to fill in, data account name and apn.
Data account name can be inserted with any name you want but the apn maybe some how important. Many networks have their own apn, apn is the short form for
access point and inserting words like wap and internet should work fine for all networks.
In most phones, the data account settings is not in the browser settings but in the main phone settings.
after you finish the data account settings, activate it with the internet profile you created and then activate the profile for the browser.

NOTE

There will also be small options like homepage and the rest, this are not neccessary and you can set them anytime you want, input your favourite site at the homepage option.
Advance option might be quite professional but it is not neccessary, put 0.0.0.0 or 8.8.8.8 in the dns option and everything will work.
